markets were marked by bearish sentiment on Aug. 30, due to low demand for
olefins, which is likely to persist until the end of the year. Sources said that this was
despite a potential increase in seasonal demand for year-end celebrations. Mid-afternoon Naphtha trades showed a weaker sentiment on Aug.
30, as brokers pegged the September-October Mean Of Japan naphtha Swap Time at 25
cents/mt. This was a decrease of minus 4.00/mt from Aug. 29, according to
S&P Global data. Lotte Chemical and
