US methanol trading interest remained low
on September 13, with only one offer from market participants, despite a lack
of bids and trades. The
market fundamentals were stable as both selling and buying interest was low on
Sept. 12. Both September and October methanol prices were 105 cents/gal. This
is below the September methanol offer of 107 cents/gal. According to one source, there were many direct deals being
made and little interest in spot trading. Five
consecutive days have passed without any change in spot prices in the US. Market participants earlier in the week stated that the US
