Asian paraxylene was valued at $1,089.67/mt- $1,090/mt
CFR Taiwan/China in the morning. This was $10/mt-$20/mt lower than it was on
February 15. Even though ICE Brent crude futures were
strong this morning in Asia, which also supported the PX price during the
morning, crude declined during the market close and lost most of the gains of
today. ICE Brent crude futures were at
$95.70/b as of 3:32 PM Singapore time. However, they fell during MOC to close
at around $94.89/b. Oil rose 33 cents/b to
$94.89/b each day on February 15. The last
day to declare March paraxylene cargoes was February 15. There were no offers
or bids for March cargoes in Asia that day. Volume moved to April bids. During the PX MOC...
