Spot export pricing for US
acrylonitrile fell on the week due to weaker supplier pricing. This was in
response to the lower FE Asia prices. US spot acrylonitrile
was $5 less on the week, at $1830/mt-$1850/mt FOB USGC on February 15. This was due to talk of supplier pricing at this level (5%)
on the week. Pricing firmed last week amid
stronger feedstock monomer propylene pricing. According to a seller source, they expect pricing to rise in
the near term and reach $1,900/mt-$1,940/mt due to the stronger feedstock. The CFR FE Asia price dropped $10 to $1740/mt-$1780/mt
elsewhere. The region has seen a drop in
prices due to increased supply after the Lunar New Year holiday and plant
