Latin American LLDPE - WCSA and Mercosur report lower prices-  Brazil’s
LLDPE remains unchanged as of early November-  In Argentina, Brazil, and MexicoSources said that spot prices in Latin
America's linear low-density, low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) market were
lower on the West Coast of South America. They were unchanged in Brazil and
lower in Mercosur on November 9. WCSA:
LLDPE spot import pricing was $1,100/mt along the West Coast of South America
on Nov. 9, a $20 decrease on week. Prices
were lower at $1,000, $1.025 and $1.050/mt. The most consistent level was
$1.100/mt. WCSA is very quiet. A US trader stated that there are still activities in
Brazil, and prices continue to hold but customers continue to demand lower
prices. The USGC and WCSA freight costs
are more than $100/mt. They can reach up to $180/mt...
