November cargoes, saw Asian paraxylene recoup its gains upstream and
downstream. The
CFR Taiwan/China marker fell $69-$75/mt during the week due to a drop in trade
momentum, but selling interest remained strong. The weekly average paraxylene/naphtha spread fell $8.58-$9,76/mt
to 397.72/mt on Oct. 14. The offer for
December arrivals of Asian origin was reduced to $1,052-$1,090/mt during the
Market on Close Oct. 14. Bids were not taken at the earlier stage. Sources indicated that buyers were not interested in CFR
