Widens due to stronger Nov Demand■  PX naphtha spread narrows■ No trades on MOCAsian paraxylene fell $17.67-23.50/mt to
$1,054.33-1,080.50/mt CFR Taiwan/China Sept. 23. Both crude oil and purified
Terephthalic Acid (or PTA) futures on China’s Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange (or
ZCE) were down on the same day. On
Sept. 23, November crude oil futures fell by $2.51/b to $88.55/b, while the
benchmark January 2023 contract was down by Yuan 666/mt at Yuan 5,518/mt. This
is an $8.19/mt decrease during the second session. From $30/mt on day one, the backwardation between December
and November widened to $35/mt in the Asian afternoon. According to a source, November prices are starting to look
