Oriental Union Chemical Corp (OUCC) is planning to shut its Monoethylene glycol (MEG) unit in Linyuan. A source in Taiwan informed a team member, “The unit is likely to be taken off stream in end November 2025 for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Linyuan, Taiwan, the unit has a production capacity of 260,000 mt/year.
