lower than the previous week. It was $1,180-1,200/mt CFR China in the week
ending July 1, due to lower domestic prices and weak phthalic acidity. The overall demand for the
product in China is very low at the moment. Many PA plants have been shut down
due to low demand. "Every downstream
demand in China is weak. The finished
goods are not receiving enough export orders, and the Chinese internal demand
is slow due to COVID-19 preventive policy which causes many people to no job
