was weaker, which resulted in lower buying power for Chinese importers. With China absent for the Golden
Week holidays starting Oct. 1, the market was slowing down. The orthoxylene inventory in China rose slightly to 8,000 mt
during the week. However, the increase was small. According to a trader, buyers in China were interested in
importing cargo. Interest was heard at $1120/mt CFR China. The trader stated that OX cargoes are difficult to find as
