June nitration grade toluene rose 59. 50 cents per day, to 713 50 cents per gall June 9, rising sharply due to strong
high-octane aromatic demand as gasoline futures increased. RBOB gasoline futures settled at 5. 43 cents higher at $4. 2762/gal
for the day. RBOB-based discussions for
the week were pegged at RBOB + 280c/gal to RBOB + 300c/gal. The June assessment fell within RBOB-based discussions
normalized at 707-727c/gal. It was priced closer to the last outright trade, as
it is more indicative of market conditions but still within the spread discussion. After the market closed at 713, commercial-grade trade-in
