Nylon-6Asian prices for nylon-6 softened during the week ending June 25, as weaker upstream market conditions and slow demand were to blame. Sources said that the offer levels of producers were either stable or lower over the course of the week. This was in response to the softening upstream markets after the Israel-Iran truce. Sources said that buyers were cautious and only committed to purchasing when it was necessary, as they awaited a clearer picture of price trends. A local trader stated that there was not much buying on the spot market. China's exports in May increased by 5.26% over the previous month and 32% year-over-year to 66.870 mt.
