Asian nylon-6 prices declined in the week ending July 9, weighed down by persistently weak demand. Offer levels from producers were generally lower during the week, with tepid buying interest despite lower prices, sources said. "Demand is weak, and oversupply concerns have resurfaced," a local producer said. In the export market, a multi-week downtrend and falling sea freight rates have kept buyers on the sidelines, fostering a cautious sentiment. "We're not receiving inquiries during the week; customers are currently waiting, given the situation," said an exporter. Looking forward, market participants were mostly bearish, although some are eyeing potential temporary stability from the supply side.
