Asian MTBE fell $1-2/mt
per day to $1,165-1,175/mt FOB Singapore on April 28. On April 28, the Market on Close saw activity continue with
a bid by PTT Singapore to load a 3,000-mt cargo from May 13-17, a Phillips
offer for loading a 2,000-mt car over May 23-27, and an offer by Aramco
Singapore to load a 2,000 mt cargo from May 26-30. There were no trades during
this MOC as there was little interest in both the PTT Singapore mid-May loading
offer and Aramco Singapore's late May-loading cargo. The offer for North China to load an MTBE cargo in the
second half-of May ranged between $1,050-1,060/mt FOB China. A source stated
