Asian FOB Singapore MTBE fell $4.46-5.50/mt
to $102.01-120.50/mt on Aug. 16. The entire
oil industry was affected by the decline in crude oil futures. This includes
gasoline. October Brent crude oil futures fell $2.84-3.50/b,
to $93.33-97.25/b on Aug. 16. 92RON gasoline was lower at $105.36-120.50/b, from
$107.64-125.45/b the previous day. The 92RON crack rose to 12.03 from
11.47 on the day. Vitol Singapore offered 3,000 mt to load over
Sept. 1-5 during the Market on Close process on August 16. This bid was
withdrawn at $1,019-1,040/mt near the end. During the
MOC process, no offers were received. The bid was
higher than the intraday pegged level and the MTBE factor rose to 1.137 from
