No activity in MOC RBOB settles lower on day



The spot MTBE on the US Gulf Coast fell with NYMEX RBOB
in the morning of February 15, amid low activity. Spot MTBE fell 11.03 Cents/gal to 297.57c/gal FOB USAG. This
assumes an unchanged premium at 30.66c/gal to March NYMEX RBOB Futures. There were no trades, bids, or offers during the Close
assessment market. Asian isomer-MX was lower on Feb. 15. Market activity was
slow in the morning and afternoon, with selling interest emerging during the
Close assessment. An offer for March cargo
at $966/mt-$970/mt FOB Korea was made during the MOC. Although prices may have dropped due to the mid-afternoon
drop in crude oil prices, market participants said that isomer MX demand
continues to be strong because paraxylene production plant increased their run
