Spot nitration-grade toluene and mixed xylenes prices moved slightly higher during the week ended Oct. 24, supported by ongoing supply tightness and limited import availability. spot nitration-grade toluene at 311 cents/gal FOB USG, up 3 cents week over week, while mixed xylenes were assessed at 306 cents/gal FOB USG, also up 3 cents. The highest NGT bid was heard at 310 cents/gal FOB US Gulf Coast — an Oct. 21 bid heard Oct. 22 — while the highest MX bid was heard at 300 cents/gal FOB US Gulf Coast.
