On the week of April 21st,
US oxo-alcohols pricing varied as prices were fluctuating. Sources indicated
that domestic demand is waning due to slowdowns in the automotive sector. Normal butanol export prices increased $55 to
$2,450-2,460/mt FOB USG. This is after pricing was discussed at $2,450-2,480/mt
FCA USG. Normalizing to a FOB level also takes into account the
normalization of the FOB level and pricing. Domestic NBA was unchanged at 148.5c/lb. Export 2-EH was unchanged at $2,290-2,300/mt FOB USG. This is
based on pricing above CFR China and taking account of the fall in FOB
Rotterdam. Domestic pricing was stable at
