On June 28, spot
European methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether outright prices dropped due to the
Market's selling appetite. European MTBE was valued at $1.893-2.725/mt FOB ARA. This is
$27-30/mt less than the offer of $1.894-2.725/mt during the MOC process. A 1,000 mt offer was also available at $1,898/mt. The MTBE premium compared to the front-month Eurobob swap
fell by $24.25-30.00/mt, to $587.75-600.25/mt on June 28. Front-month gasoline
was slightly lower at $1.306-2.250/mt FOB ARA on the same day. Front-month gasoline and front-month naphtha were separated
by $8.75-10.25/mt, which narrowed to $502/mt the day before. MTBE prices in Asia traded sideways to $1,371-1,400/mt FOB
Singapore on June 28. This was due to limited market activity and steady
