92 RON drops 0.10% per day on dayAsian FOB Singapore MTBE dropped $35-40/mt
daily to $1,056/mt on July 29. This was because an offer for September loading
cargo had failed to find a buyer. The
MTBE factor dropped 0.035 points to 1.083 on the day. The 92RON crack fell 12.53% to $6.63/barrel. The RON 92 FOB
Singapore assessment was 12 cents lower at $115.35-130.50/b. Overall, the FOB Singapore MTBE price has been in an uptrend
after falling below $1,000-1040/mt for the first time since February 2022. It
also reached a five-month low of $997-1030/mt on Jul 25, due to tighter
supplies and a rebounding energy complex. Despite
the rebound, there were still concerns about the MTBE demand moving forward...
