$907.44/mt on Sept. 30, with the factor dropping to 1.19 from 1.196. Participants in trading
said that the factor appeared inflated under current market conditions. PTT
submitted an offer for cargo loading from Oct. 31 to Nov. 4. This was used in
the Market on Close assessment process and helped reduce the factor and introduce
a backwardation between October and November. Vitol was bidding on early-lay can cargo during the MOC for
the past two days, with registration for Oct. 15-19 loading at 3,000 mt. PTT traded Vitol's bid at $913/mt during the MOC. Vitol then
bid for the same cargo. A source said that
