Asian benzene trading activity grew on Feb.
13, as higher bids received for March FOB Korea-loading cargoes resulted in a
$7.33/mt increase in the FOB Korea FOB benzene physical indicator to $975/mt
February 13. A laycan for April loading was
offered at $962-975/mt. This level was the same as in the previous session. Market
sentiment was affected by the net length at east China ports. According to
a market source, benzene stockpiles in east China could exceed 250,000 mt due
to slow drawdowns. A rare example was the $965-980/mt offer for
Benzene at Jiangyin port during H1 March laycan FOB China basis. This is a
reflection of oversupply in east China. However,
