Gulf Coast spot propylene declined on May 11, as lower upstream prices for
polymer-grade propylene continued to fall. The US export homopolymer
injection grade polypropylene was 2 cents lower at $2,359–$2,381/mt
(107-108cts/lb). FAS Houston. This is due to supplier pricing for rail cars at
$1.03/lb exports and lower-upstream spot propylene. Based on talk of a 3-cent premium for homopolymer grades,
the co-polymer quality was also $44 lower at $2.425-$2,447/mt (1110-11%

that lower demand is also contributing to the drop in prices. The previous
