Moeve (formerly Cepsa Quimica) is likely to take off stream its phenol and acetone plant. A source in Spain informed a team member, “The company is in plans to shut the plant in Q4 2025 for maintenance. The exact date and duration of the shutdown have not been confirmed, and no official announcement was available at the time of reporting.” Located in Huelva, Spain, the plant has a phenol production capacity of 450,000 mt/year and acetone production capacity of 279,000 mt/year.
