Asian MMA: Increased loss due to falling upstream

polymethyl methacrylate markets suffered losses on Aug. 10. This was due to a
weak upstream feedstock market, despite continued thin discussions. The Asian methyl
methacrylate CFR China mark was $1-2/mt higher than the previous day, at
$1,609-1,630/mt on Aug. 10, due to a stronger Chinese domestic market. Yuan 11,000-11,500 mt was the Chinese domestic MMA market price,
which rose 0.08% over the previous day. The
CFR China MMA marker dropped $11-16/mt over the week. The Asian polymethyl methacrylate CFR China, which is used
