The Asian methyl methacrylate market ended the week of Sept. 25-Oct. 1 little changed in China and Southeast Asia, with thin buy-sell activity due to festive holidays in the region. MMA CFR China up $5/mt week over week at $1,210/mt, while CFR Southeast Asia was unmoved week over week at $1,250/mt. The domestic China MMA market also reflected the same trend, with traders, buyers and producers citing thin activity as the holidays approached. Prior to the holidays, domestic market prices hovered about Yuan 10,575/mt, data from showed. “Demand still weak and price not much changed,” a producer in China said.
