Market sources reported that the domestic ex-tank prices of methanol in India were rangebound on April 25, despite a tight supply in ports due to a delay of at least one week in the arrivals of some Iranian cargoes. "Kandla has no material until the next vessel arrives." A trader stated that ex-tank Mumbai sold for Rupees 27,75/kg, with no material being available until May 1-2. Kandla and Mumbai port were both offering Rupees 25,50/kg in early May, but the offers for the second half were even lower at Rupees 25,50/kg. Hazira prices remained stable in the Rupees 29,50-30/kg range, with limited availability.
