weak downstream demand from China, abundant supply in Southeast Asia and
limited trading in South Korea, Taiwan, and South Korea. The near -term
outlook in China was mixed. In the days ahead, the planned suspension of
the methanol -to -olefins plants, Jiangsu Sailboat
Petrochemical, led to bearishness on the Chinese methanol markets. Domestic
prices in east China traded Yuan 140/mt higher week-on-week at Yuan 2,620 -2,650/mt
