In China, acetic acid prices increased in the week ending June 26, ahead of impending price changes in August. East China saw local AA prices increase Yuan 15/mt or $2.09/mt amid discussions on the Yuan 2,420 - 2,500/mt range ex-tank June 26. Some producers were unable to offer July-loading cargoes FOB China because they had been building inventory in anticipation of their August turnarounds.
