Market sources report that trade discussions on the Indian methanol markets dropped sharply during the week of May 30, as inventories rose due to the constant Iranian supply. Mumbai tanks are already clogged with 50,000 mt, according to a trader. Another trader noted that Mumbai port is experiencing ullage problems now due to the large number of cargoes arriving. India's domestic ex-tank talks were more relaxed day by day, with healthy inventories. Several cargoes unloaded from Iran during the week ending May 30. More are expected to arrive in the coming weeks.
