bullish note on Sept. 30, supported by low inventory, tight availability of spot
cargoes, and restocking activity in advance of the weeklong national holidays. Longzhong Information
Services revealed that the Chinese coast inventory fell 12.51% to 646,100mt on
Sept. 28. A buyer stated that it was
difficult to purchase cargo. The
September 30th selling indications for October-arrival spot cargoes were heard
at $345/mt CFR, a 2% premium over the ICIS Specific Origin price. While buying
indications were at $330/mt CRC China, Fixed-price
deals were not available on Sept. 30, but earlier in the week, a parcel
