The price of a 20,000-mt cargo that will arrive in May or June was reduced to $269/mt CFR Nantong from $270/mt CFR Nantong a day earlier. Market participants reported that the shipment was limited to Nantong and that buyers were not very interested in receiving material there. No deal was made on April 16, CFR China methanol increased $2/mt per day to $264/mt and CFR Southeast Asia methanol remained stable at $349/mt.
