May ACP discussions fail to settle  Qingdao Lidong restarts the PX unit from

Asian paraxylene gained $1-2/mt
in Asia on April 28 at $1165-1195/mt CFR Taiwan/China, and $1,145-1,155/mt FBO
Korea. This was amid mixed market movements. The ICE June Brent crude oils futures contract fell 35
cents/b to $105-110/b at 0830 GMT Asian close on April 28. Naphtha C+F Japan
dropped $12-14/mt to $885-910/mt. The most-traded September PTA contract on Zhengzhou Commodity Exchange ended 0.5% higher
than the previous session at Yuan 6150-6250/mt. The Market on Close process of April 28 saw strong buying
interest in June arrivals, while offers remained firm. Hengli sold one Asia-origin June cargo to GS Caltex for
$1,170-1,190/mt. GS Caltex bid $1,170-1,190/mt, which was booked China-Base
Ningbo. The last trade took place between
