The US spot export PVC price was unchanged
for the week of September 14, based upon stable last-known pricing indicators. Prices were set at
$760-$770/mt FAS Houston. The base range for
the assessment is $740-$750/mtFAS. This is the range that producers settled in
September volumes. An additional $20-25/mt was added to account for higher
trucking costs and storage costs for packaged material stored in warehouses. The assessment does NOT include freight, insurance, and
margins. The domestic PVC price was flat
at 89.5-91.5 cents/lb for the week. This is despite the market accepting a 5
cents/lb increase in August. Market
