Maoming Petrochemical to halt production at No.2 PP unit

Maoming Petrochemical is likely to take off stream its No.2 polypropylene (PP) unit. A source in China informed a team member, "The company is in plans to halt operations at the unit by mid-November 2025 for maintenance. The unit is slated to remain offline for about 70 days." Located in Maoming, Guangdong in China, the No.2 PP unit has a production capacity of 300,000 mt/year.
