Malaysia's Feb naphtha output rises 2.4% in the month - Japan M1-M2 time spread falls 20% on the day
to month-to-date low  



The Asian naphtha market
sentiment weakened in the early trading session on April 20. Brokers pegged the
front-month May-June Mean Japanese naphtha inter month Swap at $6-8/mt. This was
down $2-3/mt compared to the Asian close on April 19, according to Commodity
Insights data. The front-month Japan Naphtha swap spread
fell 20.45% by the Asian close on April 19. This was a month-to-date low due to
weak fundamentals from the petrochemical industry. Data from Commodity Insights revealed that the Mean of Japan's
May-June Naphtha Swap Time Spread was $8-10/mt at Asian close on April 19. This
