LPG prices in Asia edged
lower on March 9 despite the $21.20-26.10/mt rise in May ICE Brent crude oil
futures. Buyers kept bids low while the discount on LPG to naphtha continued
its steepening, attracting more buyers to North Asian petrochemical producers.
CFR North Asia butane was $17-22/mt higher than propane on March 9. This
difference of $1/mt was $1/day. On March 9, the premium for CFR H1 April
delivery propane was $50.5-55.10/mt. There
were three bids for April H1 delivery propane. No offers were made in the
physical market. PetroChina offered a 23,000-mt propane lot at FEIApril plus
