valued at $15-20/mt at $1,320-1,350/mt CFR China on April 20th. The China
domestic price was also assessed at Yuan 160-180/mt at Yuan 9,700-9,725/mt
exp-tank. This is supported by news about production losses in North China and
easing restrictions on logistics in East China. Market sources stated that two
SM producers in North China have lowered operating costs due to high
inventories and slow road logistics. Bullish expectations for
demand recovery have been boosted by the ease in East China's highway
restrictions. Sources claimed that trucks
could now travel in and out of Shanghai and that manufacturing was slowly
