Low Rhine water levels had caused naphtha
inland stock levels to drop to very low levels, thereby limiting cracker rates,
sources claimed Aug. 16. Sources say that the Rhine situation
has caused a decline in the number of crackers of naphtha for Petrochemical
crackers. This has affected the cracking rate and made it difficult to move
naphtha across Northwest Europe. Sources said that "Inland
