Asia LLDPE: Weaker markets pressure LLDPE prices lower- Inflation dampens demand- DCE falls Yuan 281-300/mt on dayDue to weak demand and currency
depreciation in Asian markets, the Asian linear low-density polyethylene rating
was lower for the week ended July 6. On the Dalian Commodity Exchange, September 2022 LLDPE
futures fell Yuan 281-300/mt to settle at Yuan 8,252-8,300/mt Ex-Warehouse. LLDPE CFR Far East Asia was valued at $1,080-1,120/mt. This
was $10-15/mt less than the previous week's assessment of $1,300-1,340/mt.
LLDPE CFR South Asia, however, was $30-35/mt higher than the last week's
assessment. Due to lower market offer
indications, Metallocene LLDPE Southeast Asia received a lower assessment of
$30-35/mt at $1450-1480/mt CFR South East Asia. A trader from Pakistan stated that Pakistani importers are
having difficulty setting up their LCs due to the fact that their credit limits...
