Commodity Insights data revealed that PE prices are at their lowest level
since January 2021 because of high crude costs, and weak demand. On Aug. 3, the October ICE Brent crude oil futures fell
$1.09/b to $99.48/b. Sources said that
rising interest rates have made it difficult for smaller converters to obtain
loans. However, imports are being hurt by the strong US dollar. This week, the South Asian LLDPE film was valued at
