Asian LLDPE: In tight supply■ LLDPE down Yuan 15,/mt during week■  Brent futures rise $0.26/bOn tight supply, Asian linear low-density
polyethylene was up in the week ending Sept. 21. Sources said that buyers
returned to the market following low purchases over many months. At $90.92/b at 4:30 pm Singapore time (0830 GMT), the
November ICE Brent crude oils futures contract was $0.26/b higher than its
previous Asian close. Yuan 15 per mt fell
on January's active traded contract on Dalian Commodity Exchange to settle at
Yuan 8,040/mt warehouse. Sources claim
this decrease was negligible. During the
week, the South Asian LLDPE film industry was stable. There will be tightness as a lot of plants have been shut
