polyethylene (LDPE) was stable during the week of Oct. 5. This was despite
holidays in India, China, and other parts of Asia. Sources said that India's
demand fell because of holidays in India during the week. At $91.62/b at 4:30 pm Singapore time (0830 GMT), the
December ICE Brent crude oils futures contract was $2.09/b higher than its
previous Asian close. Traders stated that
there are no more breakbulk shipments as container freight rates have fallen. Although logistics in the US was still at a bottleneck, it
