to low Ramadan demand, Asian linear low density polyethylene prices were lower
in Southeast Asia during the week to April 27, due to lower demand. LLDPE prices in South Asia
were stable during the week, while metallocene LLDPE C6 prices were lower due
to slow markets and some supply constraints. Sources said that current container logistics problems meant
longer demand-supply balances took to reach equilibrium. They also pointed out
that new pandemic lockdowns and rising crude oil prices, along with the
subsequent rise in bunker fuel cost, imply a supportive freight rate
