ethylene was slightly higher in the week to November 30 due to low inventories.
Many buyers remain cautious for months ahead of procurements because of
uncertain macroeconomic conditions. According to plant news, Saudi
Arabia's Eastern Petrochemical kept two of its two linear high -density
lines at Al -Jubail, each with a production capacity of
375,000mt/year, closed since mid -November, for month -long
maintenance. The source said that the company's third LLDPE line, with a
capacity for 400,000 mt/year, and a 400,000 -mt/year HDPE facility,
will still be in operation during maintenance. SPDC and SABIC own the
