sales Prices of Asian linear low density
polyethylene were higher in the week ending March 2, in South Asia, due to
increased offers and firm energy values. In China, prices dropped due to lower
discussions. The ICE May Brent crude oil futures rose $10.61-16.10/b per
day to $111.04-130.50/b at 4:30pm Singapore time (0830 GMT). Due to higher netbacks, some steam operators preferred to
sell feedstock rather than produce downstream products. LLDPE prices in South Asia rose as foreign suppliers offered
higher offers. Sources said that market
sentiment in the region was buoyant due to ongoing maintenance and lower run
