US Polyols & TDI: Lower Prices for the polyurethane feedstocks in the US dropped in the week ended Nov. 14 as the weak demand persisted towards the end of the year. spot polyether polyols at 68 cents/lb DAP US Nov. 14, down 1 cent/lb on the week, at the top of a buyer’s price range heard at 65-68 cents/lb DAP US, considering multiple indications of low demand. Sources reported that smaller polyol buyers are paying higher than 70 cents/lb, with a buyer reporting the 70-75 cents/lb DAP US range. Demand was reported as stable on the low side over the last year, with “no real spikes anywhere,” a buyer said.
