European MTBE saw pricing
gains on April 28, thanks to a firm buying appetite. The MTBE FOB ARA mark was up
$48-52/mt on the day and now stands at $1,270-1,300/mt on April 28. This is in
response to a Market on Close assessment and gains in upstream gasoline
markets. European MTBE premium to April --May--
Eurobob bars were seen at $155-160/mt by 4:30 PM London time on April 28. This
was an increase of $140-150/mt the day before. Despite the MOC window showing bidding interest, there were
no offers. This resulted in another day of muted trading volumes. However, there were no changes in the supply-demand balance. The record-breaking gasoline blending margins remained at
