The sharp fall in crude oil and the bulk
energy complex saw Asian toluene prices take a beating on Nov. 28. Two offers were made on the market for 2,000 mt
ASTM D-841 each, LC at the sight for the second-half of December loading. There
were no takers. The first cargo was offered at $795/mt FOB
Korea, with the second being $775/mt. Sources
said that a bid was made for the same cargo at $750-770/mt but that it required
CEPA documentation. There were no trades reported. According
to industry sources, the demand from South Asia and Southeast Asia was at an
all-time low for the year-end to January. Industry
