Lianyungang Petrochemical has taken its Monoethylene glycol (MEG) unit off-stream. A source in China informed a team member, “The company has shut down its unit around February 10, 2026, for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.” Located in Xuwei, China, the MEG unit has a production capacity of 910,000 mt/year.
